It took me a long while to acquire enough vanity to believe that people would be interested in stuff that will be posted on this blog. However, having thought this through, it is clear to me that I am more interested in what other people have to say about this blog's subject matter. And this was, and is, the motivation for starting this.
There are literally millions of blogs out there; this one deals with three specific aspects:
- The entrepreneur's point of view. This may be the flip side of what Guy Kawasaki is doing on his blog and books, which is extremely generous of him when you come to think of it. While he provides us with priceless information about how venture capital funds and investors want to hear from you, this blog aims to tell the story from an entrepreneur's standpoint.
- Everything you always wanted to know about entrepreneurship* (*but were afraid to ask). Yes, I'm a Woody Allen fan. Sounds silly? My dad always told me that silly people are the ones who are afraid to ask questions out of pride. I wish I had this sort of reference when I was starting on my way as an entrepreneur and 3-time founder. I will therefore do my best to lay down as much information about topics that concern every founder, from the most obvious to the ones you learn as you go along.
- The Renaissance Entrepreneur. This is a concept that I've been toying around with for years. No need to go into much detail now, but let me just say that this model entrepreneur is something that anyone out there should aspire to. I promise to devote many (long) posts for that concept and philosophy.
There. A blog is born. This is gonna be fun.
